This series continues to evolve as I explore the intersection of geometric abstraction and the elemental energies of Cornwall. ✨ These circular forms have become vessels for the "spectral drift" I’ve been experiencing—capturing the essence of the piskies and elementals that weave through the Cornish landscape.

This new series explores the dialogue between soft, atmospheric washes and the enduring weight of history. The central composition is a direct response to the ancient stone circles of the UK—specifically the prehistoric sites that ground the landscape near my studio in Cornwall.

To bring this to life, I’ve used Holbein Chromashine watercolours. Their unique shimmer allows me to translate the brilliant, contrasting quartz veins found embedded within weathered Cornish granite into subtle, shifting textures on paper.

This new series explores the meeting point of the soft and the ancient. The composition is inspired by the monumental forms of the ancient stone circles of the UK, particularly those near my studio in Cornwall.
