Site Specific

As an artist, I am always looking for inspiration in new and unexpected places. My first residency in Asia opened my eyes to bold new vistas and possibilities. For my solo exhibit I used Google Earth and Google Night Sky to create an installation entitled "Site Specific." By exploring the intersection of art and technology, I was able to capture the geographical landforms and constellations of my location in the past, the then present and future.

Many works had a duality to them whereby abstract by day and representational by night via neon powder filled carvings in perspex.

Later on I would go on to show at various other galleries in Malaysia and SIngapore.
