Spectral Synthesis
This series investigates the intersection of rigid geometry and atmospheric light. By mounting paper onto canvas, I create a structural foundation for a slow, meditative process of layering thinned acrylics and Chromashine watercolours. Each piece begins with a minimal pencil framework, which is gradually transformed through translucent glazes that shift and oscillate as the viewer moves. These works aim to capture a sense of suspended energy, exploring how light-responsive pigments can give flat surfaces a deep, resonant, and physical presence.
